There are many shopping possibilities in the Coolsingel, the Karel Doormanstraat, the Oudebarneveldtstraat and on the up and coming Meent. The Bijenkorf in Rotterdam is also worth a visit and you can wander around to here within 10 minutes by foot.
Rotterdam is also known as the "City of Events". You can easily combine visiting one of the exciting events with a stay in A Small Hotel.
